New London Writers Press began as a magazine in 1997. We published the likes of Bette Bourne (Bloolips), Benjamin Zephaniah, and the late, great Quentin Crisp who sent us a lovely poem written in lavender ink.
How we can help you today
- By providing a valuable link to your website or blog
- By distributing news about you and your work to our network of agents and publishers
- By publishing you on our site (at the editor’s discretion)
- By giving you valuable feedback on your work
- By providing a social network of writers
How we may be able to help you in the future
- By publishing your work in our New London Writers Press
We invite you to send your full-length manuscript, (previously unpublished), for consideration by our editors.
New London Writers Press is due to launch this year. We are looking for fiction and non-fiction writers, all subjects considered. We respect originality, so if you feel that your work pushes beyond conventional boundaries please get in touch via email, or drop us a line via our form.
We intend to send out regular news updates about the interesting new writers on our site. Whether you are an unpublished author seeking your first contract, or an already published writer seeking promotion, (and/or a book deal), we may be able to assist you.
By sending, or uploading a sample of your work on our site we can broadcast your writing talent to our network of publishers and agents in the UK, and overseas. At present, there is no fee, even if you secure a book deal through us.
Online Agents and Talent Scouts
New London Writers is hoping to form a collaborative network of writers, publishers and agents. Naturally, we are also on the lookout for great new writers for our own, forthcoming press.
You can submit your work sample here.
We aim to respond to all submissions within two weeks.
Worried About Copyright?
Clearly, you own the rights to your work, our aim is to provide a link to your work, in order to promote you. Occasionally, we will publish a segment of writing here on our site.
However, any work you do send should have your name and email address. For full length manuscripts we need a personal bio or resume and a short synopsis of the book.
Thanks for your interest!
